  • UN condemns Israel for wreaking “enormous destruction” in the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, as Israeli forces continued to lay siege to the area, leaving Palestinian residents without access to food, water, electricity and the internet.

  • Palestinian health officials said a “real ceasefire” is needed in the Gaza Strip for a polio vaccination campaign to succeed, as Israel continued to pound the enclave, killing at least 61 people in the past 24 hours.
  • Israel’s military recovered the bodies of six Israeli captives from a tunnel underneath Rafah as the relatives of those held by Hamas called for mass protests against Netanyahu’s governmen..

  • At least 40,738 people have been killed and 94,154 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza. An estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7.
